About Zarpar

Zarpar in Spanish means, "to set sail."  Pretty corny for a boat name, huh?  It all happened on a trip to Tamarindo Costa Rica where a local bartender told me that Zarpar was their way of saying, "One more beer before we head home."  It stuck with me and years later when I was crazy enough to buy a boat it seemed fitting to name her Zarpar.  A 1987 Catalina 36 Mk1, she's a fine craft that we call home in our new chapter of life.
